Port Infrastructure Development Program

The Port Infrastructure Development Program improves the capacity, safety, efficiency, and resilience of goods movement to, from, and through California’s maritime ports while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions and harmful impacts to communities adjacent to corridors and facilities used for goods movement.

Surface Transportation Block Grant /Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program Project Nominations 

Sponsor/Source: SCAG/Federal Highway Administration 

Eligible applicants in the SCAG region can submit project nominations to receive a portion of an estimated $1.2 billion in federal transportation funding. The SCAG STBG/CMAQ Program Guidelines outline the process and procedures for the calls for project nominations and project selection. All interested applicants are encouraged to coordinate with their respective county transportation commissions to ensure alignment with local priorities.

HOME Investments Partnership Program

Sponsor/Source: California Department of Housing and Community Development 

The HOME program provides funding for rehabilitation, new construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation for multi-family projects; new construction and down payment assistance for single-family projects; first-time homebuyer down payment assistance, owner-occupied rehabilitation, and tenant-based rental assistance programs; and predevelopment loans to community housing development organizations. All activities must benefit low-income renters, homebuyers, or homeowners.

Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicle Port Infrastructure Lead Dev of Content Guidelines

Up to $40 million in grant funds for projects that will deploy medium- and heavy-duty (MDHD) zero-emission vehicle charging or hydrogen refueling infrastructure for California seaports and land ports of entry. Funding will support installation of in-ground fueling infrastructure for battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell MDHD vehicles, port equipment, and off-road equipment (e.g., gantries, cargo handling equipment, etc.).

Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program

The Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program) provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment, and other sources of air pollution. The Carl Moyer Program is implemented as a partnership between the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and California’s 35 local air districts. Permanent Local Housing Allocation
